6.1 New Email Account Setup
Follow these steps to change your settings in your Netscape Email program.
First, open Netscape mail. Once you have Netscape mail open, go to Edit and then
Mail/News Account Settings. In the Your Name Field simply type in your name as you
would like it to appear. In the Email Address field type in your email
address. It should look similar to this ( username@harbornet.net
). Then click next. For Incoming Server choose the POP option and type mail.isoc.net
for the server name. Click next In the User Name type only your username, NOT your
email address. Now click next. In the Account Name box you can type in whatever you
like, preferably your email address and click next. If all these settings are correct, then click finish.
Netscape should then be setup to access and use your HARBORNET.NET email
account. You can now click OK to exit the Account settings window.
On the Account Settings window click the New Account button.
Choose ISP or Email Provider option and click next.
